Hello!
My information reguarding William born 1730, is that most likely his father was John's brother Joseph born 1660-1665 probably Barbados or VA.
The informatin I have was prepared 5 to 10(?) yrs ago by Doris Bohannon, Escalon CA.
She said that parentage of William had not been proven and the good possibilities were Joseph Bohannon who died in Prince William Co VA will 1738/39,+ wife Elizabeth Neville left children: John, Joseph Jr, Neville, George, Sarah, William b.19 Nov 1730 Christ Church Parish register of Middlesex Co VA.
Another poss. is: Henry, left will 1740. wife Ann Booten Bohannon Middlesex Va, no list of issue, but Ann's Fathers name was Joshua, a name used by William for his son. He used many other Booten names: Frances, Tabitha, Judith, Henry, Ann....but these were common names at the time! Food for thought! More on John in another note!
