I'm looking for information on Samuel Milton Buckhannon b 24 April 1824 probably in South Carolina. He married (1) Tempy M. Sims (Simms)abt 1845 in Pickens County, Georgia. Samuel and Tempy had nine children: Mary Lusenda, Narcissa Jane, Miles Wesley, Sarah Elizabeth, Susan Delila, Ruth Hesteranne, Martha Louise (who I descend from), Lillian Ann, and William Elias.

They divorced and Samuel married (2) Mary M. Colbert before 1870. She was born about 1853. They had one son, James H. Buchanan. The spelling of the name changed with this marriage.

Samuel's parent's were James William Buchanon b 24 April 1805 in South Carolina and Lusenda Howell born about 1806, probably in South Carolina also.

Any information on this family would be GREATLY appreciated!!!
