Dear Madam,

I thank you very much for your kind reply to my query in relation with the Captain Richard Bogue.

In fact, I am no in relation with Bogue's family, only a person who is very interested by the napoleonic history, and by the monuments which are in memory with this period of the european history.

Coauthor of the book titled in french : "Répertoire mondial des Souvenirs napoléoniens", I visit the battlefield of Leipzig and I seen this monument also, I ask me : " who is
the captain Bogue". Here in France, it is very difficult to find some information in relation with British officers, sometimes Richard Bogue was born in 1782 sometimes in 1783, but also never the place where he was born.

Do you know in the Hampshire perhaps in Fareham city a
monument or commerative tablet in memory of him. You
known that the year of birthday date is 1782, do you known
the day, the month and the place ?I thank you very much for the interest of my question.

Yours sincerely.

Alain Chappet
