In the Bogue Family book by Virgil T. Bogue, there is a Clark Bogue born in East Haddam in 1771. I do not know if he is the Clark you are looking for but a few things line up. He was the youngest son born to James Bogue Jr. and Eunice Clark and a brother to my 5g-grandfather. On page 37 of the book, it says Clark was living in Genesee Co. NY and listed two males under 16 and two females in his household (no names). It also says to see NY Historical and Genealogy Record, Apr. 1872. More about Clark continues on page 56 but I have only limited pages. Perhaps someone with a copy of the book (pg.56) can help out here and see if your Nathan is mentioned. I do know many of these Bogues moved to lower MI/IN/OH in the mid-1800's.

Jim
