My Grandfather was Wilhelm-Johannes Doos, born in Dinkel (Tarlykovka) on the Volga in Russia. He moved to Michaelsthal (now Voronzovka) circa 1900 and married Augusta Milosine Boger. The Bogers were a prosperous and well respected family in Voronzovka and were part of the original settlers that established the village during Catherine the Great's time. In 1941 virtually all citizens of German ancestry were deported to Siberia. There are some that immigrated to the US prior to that time, and several family clusters have survived in Russia and Germany to this day. I have contact with some of them. Let me know what you have and we'll compare notes. Bill Doos
