My great-grandparents were Amelia (Mollie) Sophia Boger and Charles William Schafer.
(Charles was born in Prussia in 1851).
Charles and Mollie were married 6 Jan. 1874 in Greenville, Darke Co., Ohio.
(Charles died in 1933 in Ward Township, Randolph Co., Indiana).
Mollie was born 7 May 1853 in Greenville, Darke Co., Ohio and died 14 May 1924 in Detroit, Wayne Co., Michigan. She was living in Randolph Co., Ind. right before she died, though.
Mollie's parents were William Boger (of the Hessian section of Germany) and Caroline Wilhelmina Banta, who were married in 1852.
(Caroline was born 25 Feb. 1825 in Rinteln, West Germany (Lower Saxony). She died 2 Nov. 1911). William Boger died in 1860.
William's father was Adam Fredrick Boger who was born in the early 1800's in Hesse, Germany.
