I believe we might have the same ancestor. Years ago I coressponded with a Harold Boger in Portland, TN who bevieved from his research that the Bogar-Bogers came to this coutry and settled in Loudon Co., VA. My second great grandfather was Martin Bogar b in 1806 in Green Co,, TN. Moved to Morgan Co. MO.where he married Kissiah Johnson in 1838. Their son, my great grand father, Martin Van Buren Bogar was b 1849 in Clinton Co., MO and he raised his family in Atchison Co., MO.
Does any of this match inforamtion you have about the Bogar-Bogers?
