Seeking informatiion on LUDOVICA (Louisa/Elizabeth) BOESE (Bose/Boser).
Records at St. George Catholic Church in Hermann, MO show mother as LUDOVICA BOESE at baptism of son, John, in 1866 with Dorthea BOESE as sponsor. Name is shown as LOUISA BOSE at baptism of daughter, Emilia, in 1864. Apparently a German priest entered the baptism of John in the register using German "o" in spelling of Drollinger and Boese uses German "s". Husband's name is shown as Michael DROLLINGER.
1876 Tax List for Montgomery Co., MO shows Michael DROLLINGR, age 55, with three children: John, Amilia and Lucinda. No wife is listed.
MO Death Certificate for John Drollinger shows father's name as Michael and mother's name as ELIZABETH BOSER.
Any information on BOESE or DROLLINGER family would be appreciated. Believe they came to Hermann, MO with large group of German immigrants in the late 1850's, early 1860's.
