Shannon,

Earl Boerner was cousin to my father. His wifes name was Mamie and I can remember them visiting us when I was a child. He and his brothers were sons of John Boerner, brother to my grandfather William Bartlett Boerner. Glen Boerner and his wife attended the family reunion of the William Bartlett Boerner Family in 1993, which is the last time I saw him.

John and William were only two of several children born to
John Adam Boerner and Marie Anna Sabilla Wiener. They immigrated from Germany in 1854 aboard the ship Nordstar.
The older brother Henry was only 9 months old at the time, born in Bremen, Germany. They first settled in Ashton, Illinois. There was Henry, John (your line), William, Frederika, Anna, Earnest, and Emma. (I think that was all, but do not have my information with me at this time.

I have many pictures of John's family and can provide you with more information if you like.
