John Adam Boerner born in 1817 in Van Friet (possibly Wanfried) German, married Marie Anna Sabilla Wiener from Eschwege, Germany. They had several Children.
Henry was born 1864 in Bremen, Germany
married Mary Perry and he died in 1938.

William Bartlett Boerner married Lenora Paris. (these were my grandparents)
John and Marie immigrated to the U.S. in approximately the late 1860's, possibly 1868. They settled in the Ashton, Illinois area, there are also some indication they were close to Dixon, Illinois. Their families drifted in different directions, but my line , William Bartlett moved on to Lost Nation, Iowa and Nebraska finally settling in the Winner, South Dakota area. Frederika and her husband Floyd Hoff also were in that area. Does anyone have any information on John's brothers/sisters or parents. The story goes that there may have been a name change or some kind of unusual circumstances behind their immigration, possibly to avoid the war.
