Boen and Dickson and Poer: Help lead me....

Hi...

just recently found this old posting from 1999 on a board that I was searching... It certainly looks like it holds the key to breaking my brick wall. Now I need to find more ...

my ggg grandmother is Verlina Dixon(dickson) Poer.
born june 1816 Walhalla, SC
she married James Madison Poer in 1832 SC
and she eventually moved to Texas in 1878 with son's John Simpson and Sarah Melinda Clay Poer family.
She died in April 1901 in Tarrant or Ellis cty.

Sarah Clay Poer' line is Albert Gallatin and Phebe Jane Poarch Clay...

Now for the boen info
This is from the 1999 board posting I found.
She is the now supposed dau of William Dickson born Ireland bet 1762-1780ish and his second wife Mary Boen. They had
Andrew, Verlinna, and David.

Per census data verlina put fa b. ireland ma b. maryland.

Her name Verlina(sp) is passed down.

Can someone guide me and help me verify this line... ?

Thanks,

Shari
