Ashley, My daughter's name is Ashley also. Anyway, my mother's people are all from the SMALL town of Appleton, AR. Her grandmother was a Boen. There were five Boen siblings: Mae Matilda (my great-grandmother), Charlie, John, Tempe (who married a Howard), and Emma.
Matilda was born in 1872 and married a Patterson. Could your Charlie be my Charlie? Could Aussevill be Russellville, the county seat and nearest large town to Appleton? It's where I live and most of the Boens died. I hope this helps. Good luck!! TJ
