I have this information on Isaac BODINE, b. ca 1825 in TN. Married to Gilley, b. ca 1816
From a relative in TN.
"I ran across some new information that may interest you. I was doing some research on hte VANCE surname and came across a very good piece of info. Basically, it was a lawsuit that involved the children of David VANCE, who died about 1830-31. The lawsuit stated
that he was married twice and had 10 children by each wife and listed all of the 18 surviving children. That was great. In researching these children, I found that a Isaac BODINE married Gillead VANCE, a child of David VANCE. They had four children born in Sumner Co., TN-Elizabeth - 1840, James V. - 1844, Penola - 1846, and Caladonia - 1848.
They must have moved away, as not on 1860 Census.
This Isaac may be related to my husband's line: Thomas W. BODINE, b. ca 1825 in Lebanon, Wilson County, TN., died ca 1872 in Sumner County, TN., married 26 Nov. 1859, Sarah J. DAY, b. 6 Mar 1841.
