According to an article appearing in the book, "McMinn County, Tennessee, and It's People, 1819-1997," and written by Kenneth Langley (a descendant of William Langley or Longley), William had a grandson named Campbell (son of Joseph.)Could this "Campbell" have come from William's name?

The article also says that William married Mary Bodine on September 1, 1784, and that he was a Revolutionary War Veteran.
