I can't believe it!!!! I did not get a notice of any answers to my post! My great great grandmother was Sophia Boddie. You show her birth in 1813. The 1860 census shows her to be 54 yrs. old which would be 1806, but we know that that date could vary some--seems they never quite remembered exactly how old they were. She married Simon Day in Edgefield. I have an extensive database on their descendants, if anyone is interested. Simon & Sophia relocated to Dallas County and Butler Co., Alabama and by 1860 census were in Texas.
1860 Census- Texas:
Rusk P. O., Cherokee Co., TX
Residence #611
Day, Simon, age 58, (1802) born in SC
___, Sophia, age 54,(1806) born in SC
____, Eliza A., age 24(1836)born in AL
____, Thomas, age 21,(1839) born in AL
____, Jane, age 18, (1842) born in AL
____, Frank, age 16,(1844) born in AL
(my g-grandfather)
In 1865 my g-grandfather, Benjamin Franklin Day married Louisa Missouri Foster in Trinity Co. They moved to Leon Co., town of Boling.
