Brooklyn Standard Union July 13, 1918. John Henry BOCK, past commander of Teft Odell Post, No. 443, G.A.R., died
wednesday at his home, 2345 Foster avenue. He was born in this city seventy-five years ago. He was a sergeant in the Fifty-sixth Regiment, New York Volunteers, during the Civil War. He was employed by Butler Bros. for a
long period and went with Abraham & Straus fourteen years ago. He was active in the work of the Tompkins Avenue Congregational Church, and is survived by one daughter. The funeral services were conducted yesterday at his laate
home, the Rev. Alfred C. CHURCH officiating.
