Oh, more likely than not they will be the same family, just a different branch of the family. So many of the Easley family descends from one ancestor. So many of the Easleys trace back to a Robert Easley & ann Parker. If you have a Warham Easley anywhere in your Easleys, then it's almost a given that he belongs to this family. The same with the Herron family, variations on the spelling of the name, but so many of them trace back to the same ancestor.

The Rhodes are another family who seems to trace back to a common ancestor. I see them popping up in several of my lines, but when I check with "Rhodes" they all go back to the same common ancestor.

Unless, they are or become my direct line ancestor, I really don't look for siblings, etc. But, that doesn't stop them from popping up in my other lines.
