Sampson Bobo,Jr. d. 1804 in Union Co., SC. His widow, Sarah Edwards Bobo, remarried to Henry Freeman. According to records, Sarah and Sampson, Jr. had 5 children that became wards of Spencer Bobo. See following excerpt: On 31 December 1812 "Sarah Bobo alias Freeman admrx. of Sampson Bobo Junr. decd appeared before the ordinary for the purpose of throwing into the hands of Elder Spencer Bobo who is appointed by the Court of Equity as Guardian for the minors of said deceased...there being five legatees..." (Spartanburg County Journal of the Ordinary, 18010-1816. p.62) Does anyone know who the 5 children were? I believe that one was Sarah b. 1803 m. Daniel Pinkney Woodruff but I have no proof. I would love to have info on these children. I descend from Sarah through her second marriage to Henry Freeman. In Union Co. the Bobo family intermarried with the descendants of Major Duke. I am trying to see if there is any connections. Thanks, Susan Notify Administrator about this message?
