Hello--I am an Oil & Gas Researcher in Oklahoma City, OK. I am currently trying to locate the heirs of L.P. Bobo of OKC & his wife, Elsie (Weber?) BoBo. (Elsie is part of Otto Weber line) I have info that both died in the 1970's.
Online-I was able to find an obit in 1941, Wilson Co., TN for Ellen Sweatt BoBo (L.P.'s mother) other siblings were A.A. BoBo, A.C. BoBo--sisters: Mrs. Bob Bradshaw, Mrs. Blair Whitefield, Mrs. J.C. Simpson, Mrs. Mark McKee all in the Lebanon, TN area and Mrs. John Arrington of Swainey, TX. Grandchildren listed in the obit: J.C. Whitefield, J.C. Bradshaw, Lacy Simpson, Ben BoBo, Sam BoBo, & Charles Alex BoBo. I am in contact with Charles Alex BoBo's widow and she is trying to locate some info on L.P. BoBo.
L.P. & Elsie BoBo have a good size mineral interest in S34-6N-17E Latimer Co., OK. Oklahoma Law requires that a good effort be made to locate mineral owners.If not found the bonus money is eventually placed in suspense by the Oil & Gas Company and then turned over to the State.
