Sorry about being so very slow in responding to your posting. Yes, I do remember your father. I saw him many times at your uncles when he lived in Bartonville when I was young. I also remember being at your grandmothers, especially when I was younger.
I have not been able to find much information on the Boblett family line. One of the sources I read had indicated that Emily had been born in Shelby County, Illinois. I had contacted the local historical society there. They were not able to find any birth records, I have also seen some links to Ohio, but have not been able to document any firm links. Interestingly, My grandfather Neal moved to Wyoming Illinois from Ohio. Some of his family had lived for a short time in Ross County. I think there had been some links in Ohio between the families. Unfortunately this was not something I ever thought to ask about when he and my grandmother were still living.
