I have not been able to find any documented information about EMILY BOBLETT, JESSE BOBLETT or LUTITA HUMPHREY. Emily was born in Shelbyville according to information from one of my Wilkinson cousins, but when I contacted the Shelby county historical society, they were not able to verify that. From the oral history that I have from my dad( Lowell Neal, his older brother William Howard Neal, and two of my dads first cousins Charles and Wilber Wilkinson; Emily, was part indian. This was not somthing that my grandmother or any of her sisters would talk about when I was a child. They were born in a time when such a family background wad not publicly discussed. There seem to be a number of Bobletts who came out of Ohio.
The following are the decendents of my grandmother Ellen Izona (Wilkenson) Neal Who maried my grandfather William Thomas Neal around 1915. They lived most of there married life in Peoria and East Peoria Illinois.
I will send added information if I come across it. I would be interested in your family Line from the Wilkinson side.
