David, your question is so old you probably have found the answer if you are still interested. Albert W. Bobbitt was married to Lourany Adaline Wiggins by 1867 when their first child was born. They are in the 1870 census of Douglas Co. MO. By 1871, Albert shows up in a Christian County MO court record. In 1876, their family is listed in the Christian Co. MO agricultural census. By 1880, Adaline is a widow living with her father Eli Wiggins' family in Barry Co. MO. Adaline died in Barry County in 1888 and is buried in Crow Pond Cemetery. The children listed in the 1880 census are Arminta 12, William 11, Franklin 8, and Walter 3. I found Walter Henry Bobbitt's WWI draft card showing he was in Oakland California and his sister Arminta F. Rowe of Oakland was listed as his closest relative. Arminta had married Emmett A. Rowe in Barry Co. MO in 1884. The had a son Clarence Rowe born in MO in 1888. It took a while to find Albert's name since he is listed on Lurany Adaline's tombstone as A. W. Bobbit.
