Barbara, I have some differences in my information on John Richard. I believe he married Amy Alston, daughter of John Alston in 1743. Also, my information says that John Richard Bobbitt was the son of William Bobbitt and Amy Bennett. My source is 'The Bobbitt Family in America' by John W. Bobbitt, printed 1985 in Washington D.C. Would be interested in the source of your information on these items.
