Robert Euel Bobbitt
Robert Euel Bobbitt, 92, a retired maintenance personnel for U.S. Corp., died Friday, Feb. 6, 2004, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Jarrell Williams Bobbitt of Ashland City; stepsons: David (Cynthia) Williams of Nashville and Tim Williams of Ashland City; step daughter, Karen (Brad) Kramer of Urbana, Iowa, nine step grandchildren, three nieces, four nephews and a host of close friends.
He was preceded in death by his parent, Robert L. and Martha Denney Bobbitt; his late wife, Era Lee Bobbitt; two brothers: D.C. Bobbitt and James Bobbitt; and three sisters: Cora Barton, Dollie Wall and Mary Bobbitt.
Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 9, 2004, at 2 p.m. at Boyd Funeral Home with Dr. Sam Creed and Bro. Leon Edwards officiating. Family and friends served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers: Members of the Ashland City Lodge 604, members of the First Baptist Church Fidelis Sunday School Class and Hadley Williams. Internment was in the Smith-Neptune Cemetery in Ashland City.
Boyd Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.
