I'm also searching on the bobbitt line. my 4th g-grandmother was charity (bobbitt) johnson, b.1764 in granville co., n.c.--a william a. bobbitt signed her marriage bond.
does anyone know if this is her father? and who was her mother? her children were:
polly, sion, tobby,wesley, william, james,darean, isham, issac, turner, david, martha, benjamin w., littleton spivey, & joseph. she had a grandson named green bobbitt johnson.
