Off the top of my head, I know of 3 Bobbitt men who served in the revolutionary war. Two of them are my ancestors, Captian William Bobbitt b. 1744, d 25 sept 1817 and Lt. John Bobbitt b. 1742, d. 1816. Also their brother James b. 1748.
