The original of the land grant to 8 William Bobbitt on Oct.
27,is in the Virginia State Archives in Richmond.He was granted a patent
on 96 acres of land on the south side Appomattox River near the
Cattail Branch.He was a member of the Anglican Parish, Charles
City County,and is believed to have been buried in the church yard

Norfolk and Western Railroad station in Petersburg, Virginia.
