I have a George Martin who married 1836 Hamilton Co., OH to Sarah Senteney b. 1818 Springdale, Springfield Twp, Hamilton Co., OH to parents William Senteney/Senteny b. 1779 NJ, d. 1840 Springdale, & Rebecca Carle dtr of Ephraim. Wm son/o John (Sr) of Middlesex & Somerset Cos., NJ. John possibly had Elizabeth & Joab who also lived in Hamilton Co., OH; Benjamin of Hunterdon Co., NJ; John Jr b. 1761 Lewis & Jacob [last 3 moved to KY]; Rebecca (1779-1840 Springdale) John Sr m. Mary Jane Hyde. John Sr naturalized in NJ 20 Aug 1755 which means hewas not English. Two friends suggest he is Holland Dutch because of the 'ney' ending & the community where they lived was mostly Dutch with the State church being the Dutch Reformed. Will exchange.
