I think I can help. My grandfather was Green Bobbitt. He lived in the Hickory Flat area of Carroll Co. Green was born in 1890 and had a sister named Senia and Mary. His genealogy is as follows;

Green Bobbitt m. Cynthia Tilson
Father was James Kenney Bobbitt 1855 m Elizabeth Ward
Father was Alexander Bobbitt 1829 m Jane Patton
Father was Charles Bobbitt 1809 m Sarah (Sally) Defries
Father was John Bobbitt 1783 m Nancy Nuckolls
Father was William Bobbitt 1744 m Nancy (Ann) McKinzie
Father was James Bobbitt 1707 m Elizabeth Dalton Bennet
Father was William Bobbitt Jr. 1675 m Mary Green
Father was William Bobbitt m Joanna Sturdivant William was the original immigrant.
