Please excuse the cross-post. I need information about the family of Samuel Bingaman and Susanna Bobb Bingaman, who were married March 25, 1866 and lived in Centre Township, Snyder County, Pa.
In the 1880 census, Laura E. Seebold is listed as living with the
family of Samuel Bingaman, but her name comes after all the other Bingaman children with the notation "Wife's Daughter" after her name. Charles A. Fisher records a marriage between Zacharias Moyer and Laura E. Seebold, but the 1900 census lists Kate Bubb, grandmother, living with Zachariah and Ellen Moyer. Ellen's birth date is given as November, 1860. The conclusions are that (1) Susanna Bobb had a daughter by someone named Seebold prior to marrying Samuel Bingaman, (2) the child's full name is Laura Ellen Seebold, and (3) after marriage, she used the name Ellen. Does anyone have anything on Susanna Bobb and an unknown Seebold?
