Hello Mr. Hines
Thank you very much for responding to my inquiry. I am reseaching the Deckard Family and I believe that Martha and I share the same ancestor Jacob Deckard or Wythe County, Virginia.
I have in my pocession a copy of Martha Marie Boatright's application to the DAR. From what I have been told Her application and another woman Julia Francis Deckard has had their membership revoked due to lack of documentation. I am working to prove their rightful place and any others that would like to prove Jacob as their Patriot.
