Can anyone supply documentation from Kentucky that proves the names of the children of John Joseph Boatright and Frances Elizabeth Tinsley? Many claims have been passed around about their children for many years. This couple lived in Amherst & Cumberland County Virginia.
Their reported sons:
Aneas (born 1786)
Tecumseh (b. 1787)
Richard (b. 1788)
Marlow T. (b. 12 Apr 1789)
Powhatan Valentine (b. 13 July 1790)
Major P. (b. 13 Feb 1792)
Prior J. (b. 5 Oct 1793)
William (b. 1794)
Littleberry (b. 12 Oct 1795)
Marlow P. (b. 1796)
Prios (b. 1797)
Cary Harrison (b. 3 Dec 1800)
Did they have any daughters? Are all of the sons above known to actually be their sons? Does anyone have proof that Frances' maiden name was "Tinsley"? What about proof of the parents of John Joseph and Frances?
I have no proof of when John Joseph Boatright died, but it was reportedly in Virginia. AFter his death, supposedly his widow went to Kentucky and there is proof there of their children. I would very much appreciate a county name in Kentucky or other evidence that proves their children.
