First - don't get your hopes up with this message - I have sent it out of interest.

My mother's maiden name was Boast - she was born in Lowestoft, Suffolk. Her father, Herbert Boast came from Cookley a village about 10 miles from Lowestoft and about 10 or so miles south of the Norfolk border. I have no idea if they would be relatives of the people you are looking for, but as Boast
is not a common name it is possible.
