I have info on a Robert Boast who appeared to have gone to Australia in the late 1800's. he is a direct ascestor of mine. he came from Stardbroke, Suffolk England, and from my info he was born in 1837, son of George Boast and Hannah(nee Aldous). There are still relatives in Australia today from Robert as I had contact via post from them last year. If you require any further info, let me know, I realise you needed pre 1800's. but the name was right! hope this is of some help to you.
