I'm also Grant Boals' great grandson, pleased to hear from you.

Grant's mother, Sarah Dugan is a brickwall for me. I know she was dead by 1870 but don't know where she is buried or when or how she died. I believe by circumstantial evidence that she came from Ireland in 1848 on the Nelson Village to New York and followed the migration pattern from the 1830's of the Hugh Dugan family(uncle?) to Perry/Muskingum County, Ohio. Hugh's daughter Agnes married Grant's uncle McKee Boal. I have no trail beyond that into Northern Ireland.

I'm also uncertain where or when or how Grant's father William Boals died or where he is buried.

I'm certain that you have questions as well. Perhaps between us, we can find some new answers.
