I'm a gr-gr-grand-daughter of Janet Boag (b.Strathaven 1825, d 1899) and John Hamilton (born Glassford c1817, d 1881). Janet was the daughter of Alexander Boag and Jean nee Clelland. Looks like we have a match. Jean was born in Ayrshire in 1791 and died in Strathaven in 1868.
