Dear James,

What a small world we live in.

Here is info just given to me today by my g-grandmother's cousin James Boag, who is around 80. Does the name sound familiar? He lives now in Vancouver, Washington USA.

By the way my b. is 11-13-1962 and I am a direct desendent of the Perth Scottland Boags. I will give you what I have so far and maybe it will make a family connection. Next week I will be recieving a huge packet from him in the mail with info going back even farther. This is really exciting, think we could be cousins.

My g-grandmother was;
Edith May Boag b.12-2-1891 d.11-18-1985
m. Oscar Myron Butler 12-1910 in Oregon, USA

Edith's parents were;
John Boag b. 12-25-1862 d.1-21-1937
m. Anna Emerel? Ross in 1890 in Perth, Canada (yes there is a Perth Canada, founded I think from the Scottish imigrants)

John's parents were;
John Boag b. 1-29-1821 d. 11-27-1901
m. Flora Barr 11-8-1850 in Ontario Can.

John's parents were;
Andrew James Boag b. 4-27-1792 d. 1830
m. Mary Ann Lawson b.4-12-1798 in
PERTH SCOTTLAND

Andrew's Parents were;
Thomas Boag who married Agnes Neilson in
Scotts Church on 4-27-1786

Andrew's wife Mary's parents were;
John Lawson and Elizabeth Summerville

Let me know if this connects with you, I am thinking that your lineage could be a brother of one of the above Boags.

Thanx,

Katie Ann :)
