On the 1901 census there are three lodgers living with my Brindley family in Gillingham Kent. One of them is Robert Boag, 23, Steam engine fitter, France Croix ( British Subject.)
The other two boarders(not Boags) also seemed connected to shipping, one is also a steam engine fitter and one is a shipwright HM. Dockyard Essex Harwich.
My Brindley family had two members that were in the Royal Marines.
