Blyth Family - Cupar Fife Scotland (James & Agnes)
Posted by: Gail Ward (ID *****9174) Date: September 12, 2007 at 20:58:08

Looking for relatives of my grandparents James & Agnes Blyth. Agnes's maiden name I believe was Falconer and I think she was born in Dundee. I think James was born in Cupar. A son John Robertson Blyth was born on August 31, 1925 at 28 South Road, Cupar (not sure if this is a hospital or James & Agnes home address. James and Agnes Blyth arrived in Halifax on June 23,1929 on the ship Athenia. James was 28 so would have been born in 1901 and Agnes was 27 and would have been born in 1902. They had three children with them Andrew Blyth (7); Helen Blyth age 1, James Blyth age 5 and John Blyth (3 - my father). Upon arrival in Halifax they moved to New Brunswick and bought a house in Red Bank, Chipman.

I am leaving for Scotland this week-end and hoping to find relatives. Any Assistance would be appreciated.
