Annette, just posted to Jaime on this forum concerning the Blunts of La. My grgrgrandfather, Joseph Allen, of Iberville, ST Charles parishes named a son William Blunt Allen. The name is so unusual that I thought he may have relatives with that surname. Do you know of any Blunts who are related to Allens in La? Joseph's father was John Allen of Ohio married to Catherine (bn in Ire.), but they must have migrated to La bef. Joseph was bn, as Joseph stated on census that he was bn. in La.
