I'm still encouraging other Blunt/Blount males to take the DNA test. At least 37 markers would be most helpful, but even the 12 marker for about $100 tells you enough to follow tup with contacts.. So far, with the 7 Blount/Blunts posted on Y-search, we have no matches, my husband being the lone haplogroup G2 there. His ancestor is Samuel Blunt/Blount of Indiana, b ca 1784, probably PA or NC of English heritage. With enough Blounts by which ever spelling participating, we might begin to find matches!
