Charles, I can't help you with the DNA because obviously I am not a male, but I am really intested in the line you are working on. I have only been able to verify my Blount/Blunt to Reading Blount who was born in abt 1743 in NC according to information I have, but I cannot tie him into the NC Blounts who are so well documented. There is a Reading born about the same time whose father in Thomas Blount. When I research the Blount/Blunts in KY they are from Reading Blount but some of the brothers go by Blount and some by Blunt, in my direct line my ggg grandfather William Blunt in buried right beside his youngest son Charles Blount, I have seen their headstones, in fact have pictures of them. In my direct line there are two Blunt males, but I have not had contact with them as they show no interest in genealogy so don't know if they would be any help. If you are interested I can probly get their addresses. they live around Denver, Co. What Iam interested in is if you have ever come across a Reading who married Abagail Ambrose, he served in the Rev. war I do know that much, but cannot find his parents or hers. I have worked on this for 30 years and am about ready to give up.
Would appreciate hearing from you. Thanks Betty
