Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Almost forgot: The information that gave me Frederick being Frederick S.'s father is Notable Southern Families, Volumes I & II.
Don't know how accurate it is, but the paragraph that I went off of was as follows:
"John Blount, Second, married and left three sons and two daughters, namely, James Blount, Wilson Blount, Frederick Blount, Elizabeth Blount, and Mary Blount." ..."Frederick Blount, who married Rachel Bryan, a widow, born Heritage, and left children: Frederick S. Blount (who moved to Alabama and became the ancestor of a large family) Alexander Clement Blount and Heritage Wistar Blount of Lenoir County."

(sigh,...the search continues...)
