i think the name blumenshine is origionated from hungary, germany, austria. that is what my great-grandmother, katherine blumenshine, says. the meaning of the name actually means to blum and shine.i've researched some and it says that the ancsters may have had something to do with planting.if you know anything else about this email me at ilovemichael48@hotmail.com . thank you
