There was a Jankel Blumberg, born ca 1857/1858 in Grobina, Latvia. Then there was a Hirsch Blumberg, his brother, born on August 1868 also in Grobina and died in 1933 in Liepaja (Libau).
Their parents were Marcus/Morduch Blumberg and mother was Elke (Emma)/Schenny Frank.
Does that tie in at all,
