I would be happy to learn more about my great-grandparents Theodor Blum (1851-1906) and Louise Simon Blum (1850-1929), immigrants from Baden who arrived in New York in 1878. Theodor was a shoemaker, and I believe they were Catholics. According to Theodor's death certificate his father's name was Adam and his mother's Rosalia, but I have no idea where in Baden they came from, or from what background.
