My gggg-grandmother Elisabetha Margaretha Blum, nee Fries b. 18.07.1808 in Waldmohr, Palatinate / Bavaria. Married with Johann Theobald Blum b. 14.03.1802 in Waldmohr, Palatinate / Bavaria, d. 13.07.1845 in Waldmohr. They had 5 children (Philipp, Elisabetha Katharina, Jak(c)ob, Margaretha and Carl).
She emigrated with one? of her chidren to Ney York between 1848 and 1853: Elisabetha Katharina Blum, b. 05.08.1832 or 1830 in Waldmohr d. 02.05.1896 in Smithville, Wayandot / Ohio.
In 1853? she married in New York City Adam Schleif, b. 24.06.1824 in Weinheim / Germany, emigrated in 1848 from Antwerpen/Belgium, d. 04.01.1898 in Smithville, Wayandot / Ohio.
They had 11 children.
In 1876 the Schleif-Family moved from New York City to Smithville.

When did E. M. and E. K. Blum emigrat? Name of the ship? From which port did they depart? Did Jak(c)ob and Margareth emigrat, too? (Carl died in 1844 in Waldmohr. Philipp died 1879 in Waldmohr, too - he was my ggg-grandfather).
