My ancestor Johann Peter Blum was born in Bilten, Switzerland on Sept. 30, 1829. He came to Green County, WI and married Rosina nee Blum. I have Swiss records of her ancestry. Rosina and Peter had 13 children and I have traced their lines several generations. The Johann Peter Blum aka Bloom family resided in Jordan Township of Green County, Wisconsin. Rosina is related to many Blums in Monticello, Wisconsin which is also in Green County. Johann Peter and Rosina's children are: Fred b. 1854; Dora b. 1856; Jacob b. 1858; Rose b. 1859; Emma b. 1862; Carolyn b. 1863; Ida (not sure when born); Peter b. 1868; Henry b. 1870; John b. 1872; Otto b. 1874; Edwin b. 1877 (my ancestor); Thomas b. 1879.
