No mention of names in the military files, just listed as 2 dependents. He was still using the name BLUHM at time of discharge. Sometime after 1946 and before 1953 he changed his name to NOLAN. Since this is relatively current, no census is available to look after 1930, 70 year privacy law. His SS application stated he was born in Michigan. His discharge was in St. Louis, Missouri, and then moved to Texas sometime between 1946 and 1953. I have been searching any type of documents in those 3 states: marriage, divorce...I got a copy of my parents divorce papers, no info, and a copy of his death certificate, also nothing.
So, I feel I've hit a dead end. Thanks, Debbie
