Can anyone tell me the ancestry of Nancy BLOUNT, who married Lewis GARRIS (born ca. 1779) in North Carolina (Garris plantation in Greene Co.). She was most likely, according to family sources, a descendant of William BLOUNT, a signer of the U.S. Constitution and a delegate to the Constitutional Convention. Many BLOUNT lines trace ancestry to English, French, Spanish, Portuguese aristocracy as I've been told.
